Daddy's Birthday

We celebrated Keith's 35th Birthday with dinner, cookie cake and fun family time. We made it a very special day!

We got a Soccer gal on our hands....

Taytum had her first soccer game last weekend, and we had SO MUCH FUN! She loves soccer and plays with 3 other friends from last year's preschool. Go Koalas!!

We're going to the zoo, zoo, zoo!

If you read the post from a couple of days ago, you'll be able to realize how EXCITED both girls were to be going to the Wahpeton zoo. They were giddy the whole way there...and once we got there, it started out with screaming at the tigers and laughing hysterically at the otters, etc. After awhile, they started to calm down a bit:) We had a blast! Zoo, picnic in the park, carousel rides....a good ol family fun day it was!

First Day of Kindergarten!

Taytum was so very excited to start Kindergarten this year!! She could barely handle it the night before and she was up and at em the next morning at 6:30, dressed and in our room and all ready to go. She took the bus, and mom followed her there. The bus beat mom to school, so Taytum got off, walked to her classroom all by herself and sat down and started coloring. By the time mom had realized that she missed the bus, it was 8:30 and class was almost started already! Oh well...we're just glad that we didn't have a devastated kindergartener on the first day of school. She didn't care at all!!

Trip to Wahpeton Zoo

The latest conversation in our car, as we were headed to the Wahpeton zoo. The kids were so excited, they were talking on top of each other:

Taytum: Jersey, quit talking, I’m trying to tell mom & dad something

Jersey: Fine Taytum, then I’m not going to be your sister anymore

Taytum: Well, I’m already done telling my questions now
