Happy New Year!

After a busy December, Keith and I had planned to go out on NYE with some of our good friends to the local comedy club. What a fun time!! Being we are out-of-towners now, we got a hotel room and brought the girls swimming that afternoon, then Taytum had a NYE slumber party at her friend Olivia's house and Jersey had a NYE slumber party with Grandma and Grandpa Vogel! (Thank goodness they were both in bed before midnight though - well, Jersey was for sure, but Taytum cut it close:))

Good laughs, good drinks and a great way to ring in the new year! Happy New Year!

Christmas Time with the Vogels

Christmas was so exciting this year. The girls had fun picking out gifts for each other, some very, very special gifts. And also some for mom & dad. We visited Santa at Rhealt Farm and had breakfast with him, traveled to Linton to visit all of the Weisser's (and stayed there a couple extra days), attended Christmas Eve service with the Vogel side. But most importantly, spent some quality family time together: sledding, playing our new Wii, painting, swimming, dancing, and laughing.

Taytum's First Dance Performance - Dec 7

Taytum was excited and nervous for her first dance performance. She did so good out there and we were so proud of her!! Her group danced to "Rockin Robin" and "Santa Baby". It was adorable. Grandma and Grandpa Weisser, Bryce, and Grandma Vogel all came to watch her.

Jersey's Birthday - Nov 23

We celebrated Jersey's 2nd Birthday at the Doublewood Inn with swimming, pizza and fun. Some family and friends joined us. What a nice place to have a pool party - the water was as warm as bath water! Still today, Jersey sings "Happy Birthday to you" ALL the time!

Jersey is going to be 2!

We took Jersey to Nikki's photography studio to have her 2 year pictures taken. We had so much fun getting her to try on hats, tutu's, dresses. It was like she was on the runway modeling for us. Daddy's Buck

Uncle Jeremy decided to hang their buck in his garage this year - thank goodness. We still remember when Taytum asked last year "why is there a donkey hanging in our garage?". This year she knows the difference, but still can't understand why dad would shoot a deer. Does anybody have an explanation that we can share with her?:)

First weekend in November

We had a fun and busy weekend. It started off on a sad note as we had to say goodbye to a very special person (well, not goodbye for good), but it was the girls' last day at Nikki's house (our daycare provider). She has decided to quit daycare to do photography (http://www.nikkijeanphotography.com/). Here's a pic with all of the kids and Nikki.

















We went to the Bison game on Saturday night. The girls loved it. Taytum kept asking "mom, is the game over yet?"...I would say "No"...and she would say "oh good". She couldn't even take her eyes off of the game for a picture. Jersey...well, her excuse to get out of there was that she had to go potty every 10 minutes. Up the stairs, down the stairs, up, down, ....

















Then we had the Vogel family fall birthday celebrations today at our house. We celebrated Jeremy, Keith, Sarah, Haylee, Gr-Grandma and Jersey's birthdays. We went swimming at the Casselton waterpark and had a great time.

















And, it was just so exhausting that we found Jersey sleeping in her closet last night!


















Oh yeah, and here's the picture of our family from Halloween - kinda hard to see because we're in the sunlight, but I should have a better pic next week from Keith's mom. We had a blast trick-or-treating with our friends The Helms!
