As of today, I am 22 weeks and still feeling ok. The baby is kicking and moving around like crazy. Jersey finally got to feel a kick this morning and she was amazed! Both girls were able to join us at the ultrasound at 20 weeks. Taytum thought it was cool, Jersey thought it was cool for the first 2 minutes:)
Come back soon again, I will be posting the ultrasound pics and some belly pics!!

Our Student of the Month
We are so proud of our little kindergartener. Taytum was named Central Cass' January Student of the Month. See the link below and go to page 6 of the newspaper. She came home with a certificate and didn't understand what the fuss was all about and why mom & dad were so proud of her :)

Family Update
We are staying busy and taking advantage of this beautiful fall weather in Fargo!
Taytum is loving Kindergarten. She's learning alot and we practice everything at home too. She loves to learn, we hope that never changes. She is so proud of how she can already read - and we are proud of her too! We could spend a whole Saturday afternoon doing worksheets and she is the happiest child in the world doing just that. She is always asking me "What does this spell mom?" Her and her 'after-school' nanny have alot of fun together too. She'll be starting a basketball camp for a month and she's nervous yet excited. She was great in soccer, so we know she'll love basketball.
Jersey will be 3 in a couple of weeks. Her hair still isn't growing that fast and she asks all the time "is my hair getting longer yet?" Poor girl! Everytime she asks, I say "oh yes!" :) She just started a sports sampler last week and LOVES it. T-ball is her favorite so far. She is a go-getter and keeps us on our toes. The things that come out of that girls mouth should be taped and played on America's Funniest Home Videos. She is our singer and dancer. Most of her songs consist of made up versus and then she insists that we sing it with her! After each 'made-up' song, she says "You know that song, mom?"

A nice Birthday
The kids have been battling some fevers & colds this week. Jersey mostly. At about 2:30am this morning, Jersey woke up with a cough that sounded like croup. She was miserable. We brought her into bed with us...and as she started settling in, she looked at me and said "Mommy, it's your birthday today....Happy Birthday!"
My heart melted.

The things kids say....
Taytum was SO proud of herself for finding a new rhyme this morning.
Taytum: Mom! Duck and F*ck rhyme!
Mom: Yeah, good job
Taytum: Duck, F*ck, Duck, F*ck
Mom: {while laughing} We probably shouldn't say that word ok?
Taytum: {very confused} why?
Mom: It's just not a nice word.
As we were cleaning up Jersey's room tonight, she had ALL of her books (and that's ALOT) in her bed and scattered all over her floor.
Mom: Geez Jersey, did you read every book you had during your quiet time this afternoon?
Jersey: {after seeing all of the books she had to put away} ....Holy Crap!
*We laughed alot today* LOL!
