First Day of Kindergarten!

Taytum was so very excited to start Kindergarten this year!! She could barely handle it the night before and she was up and at em the next morning at 6:30, dressed and in our room and all ready to go. She took the bus, and mom followed her there. The bus beat mom to school, so Taytum got off, walked to her classroom all by herself and sat down and started coloring. By the time mom had realized that she missed the bus, it was 8:30 and class was almost started already! Oh well...we're just glad that we didn't have a devastated kindergartener on the first day of school. She didn't care at all!!

Trip to Wahpeton Zoo

The latest conversation in our car, as we were headed to the Wahpeton zoo. The kids were so excited, they were talking on top of each other:

Taytum: Jersey, quit talking, I’m trying to tell mom & dad something

Jersey: Fine Taytum, then I’m not going to be your sister anymore

Taytum: Well, I’m already done telling my questions now

Introducing our new nephew & cousin: James Weisser Pollard. Born July 21 at 2:11pm. 8lbs 2oz. 21in. What a cutie!! Congrats Gretta & Jamie...

Fun in the Sun!

Taytum spent some time in Iowa with Grma and Grpa, Stacey, Ross & Brett. They had fun camping, golfing, swimming and watching the boys' many baseball games!

What do you do when it's blizzarding?

Think positive and throw a fun beach party! That's what we did. The girls got their swimsuits, sunglasses, sunhats and beachballs out....and we filled up the sinks and had a good ol' fashioned beach party. It might've been freezing and blizzarding outside, but our beach party kept us warm, entertained and laughing all day long...

Good Friends + Good Fun + Good Drinks =

A long day at work that next Monday! But SO WORTH IT! We headed to Aberdeen last weekend to meet Sarah's college friends and their families....and, we acted like we were in college again! :) We had such a great time - the weekend went by way too fast. Between hitting over 1000 ozs on our beer tap at the TAPZ bar (which resulted in getting our pic hung on the wall) and the amount of kids we had between us, we took over that hotel! What a great time...
